The MoBetta Jam Experience is a unique jam band. About once a week, we get together at the JetCafe Studios
where we record our excursions into musical areas far beyond the reaches of ordinary music. Beyond the obvious musical references, none of the work we do is rehearsed, written down, or learned as a song. Almost everything we do is pure improvisation. Who needs a chart anyway?
One day, one of our guitar players suggested that we create a "musical blog". We have so much material that attempting to produce it by the standard assumptions of commercial music production would not be representative of the depth and distance of our journey. Our current direction is learning to improvise all of our material on the spot.
So it came to pass that our resident geek and keyboard player set up this nice collaborative site which allows us to present our music to the public, talk about it, invite commentary from the world, discuss random things, promote our gigs (when we do gig), and who knows what else?
So sit back, relax, browse the site, and enjoy yourself! If you feel so inclined, sign up for an account and contribute. We promise not to give your email address out to those nasty evil marketeers...but if you are worried about that just create yourself a dummy yahoo or gmail account. We really don't care, except that we have to be able to contact you for administrative reasons.
